Campers use VEX robotics kits to design, build, and customize their own battle-ready robot, then compete in exciting daily challenges. Perfect for kids who love building, strategy, and high-energy robot competitions. Throughout the week, students work in teams to design, build, and code their robots, testing and improving them through a variety of fun and increasingly challenging competitions. Each day builds toward bigger challenges as students refine their designs and driving skills. Students Will: Design and build their own robot Learn coding and controls Compete in daily challenges like Circuit Race, Sumo Bots, Tug of War and Hungry Hippos Test, redesign, and improve their robot each day A Great Fit For Students Who… Love building and working with their hands Enjoy friendly competition in a fun, supportive environment Like figuring out how things work Want an active, high-energy camp experience No prior robotics experience needed. Family Showcase At the end of the week, families are invited to a BattleBots Showcase, where students demonstrate their robots and the challenges they’ve completed. Families will have a chance to drive the robots themselves and try out some of the week’s challenges—making it a fun, interactive experience for everyone.
